The provincial government has appointed a committee to provide recommendations on the current Teacher Allocation Model.

The Teachers’ Union has been raising concerns about class sizes and composition that make targeted interventions more challenging for students who require extra attention.

Dr. Marian Fushell will chair the Teacher Allocation Review Committee which will include David Brown and Dr. Ross Elliott.

Education Minister Tom Osborne says the committee will look at class sizes and composition. He says they will start their work in the new year.
