The NLTA is welcoming the appointment of what it calls the long-overdue teacher allocation review process.
The formation of a review committee was announced earlier this week by Education Minister Tom Osborne.
Union President Trent Langdon says the NLTA has been calling for the review of teacher allocations for quite some time, as the pertinent Cabinet directive came nearly a decade ago.
Langdon says while welcome news, teachers are concerned about what impact a report issued in May of 2022 will have for the 2022-23 school year.
