The Department of Health is asking all passengers and crew who travelled on the Labrador Marine Ferry that left Blanc Sablon for St. Barbe on Friday, December 17th at 6 p.m. to arrange for COVID-19 testing.

Those who travelled on that crossing and currently have symptoms of COVID-19 must isolate until 24 hours after their symptoms resolve and they receive negative test results. People who do not have symptoms are not required to isolate until they receive a negative test.

However, while awaiting test results, travellers on the ferry are to isolate should they develop symptoms.
