Eastern Health is advising of temporary changes to outpatient laboratory services such as blood collection to redeploy resources to assist with COVID booster shots.
From December 29th to the 31st all non-urgent appointments have been cancelled, however, urgent and emergent laboratory testing services will continue.
As well, Eastern Health’s outpatient blood collection sites are restricted to urgent blood collection only. That includes INRs, therapeutic drug-level monitoring, and monitoring and testing for cancer care patients.
