An American med student studying at MUN is hoping to get his dog back for Christmas.
Luke McAllister, who lives on Bell Island, was in a traffic accident on Thorburn Road earlier this week. When the crash occurred his large, white husky cross Dutch bolted and has been on the loose in the Thorburn Road and Outer Ring area ever since.
McAllister describes Dutch as “super friendly” but says the accident on Tuesday freaked him out and he may be nervous.
A live trap has been set up with a group of volunteers taking turns watching it, and an entire Facebook page dedicated to Dutch’s return has been created. Anyone who has spotted Dutch is asked to contact Luke at 1-724-996-6422.
