Something of a Christmas miracle for an American med student studying at MUN.

Earlier this week, VOCM News shared the story of Luke McAllister, whose dog, Dutch, ran away moments after a traffic accident on Thorburn Road.

Volunteers sprung into action, creating a Facebook page dedicated to his return, along with search parties being organized.

McAllister is happy to report that he has been reunited with Dutch, and thanks volunteers and the community for their assistance, and they are home safe and sound on Bell Island.
