Businesses in the capital city are facing a tough period, as more restrictions are rolled out in the wake of the Omicron variant’s arrival.
Many small businesses, restaurants, and bars have been counting on this time of year to make up revenue lost during the pandemic to help them through the winter months, according to St. John’s Mayor Danny Breen.
He says that loss of revenue is a huge issue for these businesses, and is hoping that the virus can be controlled soon.
