Health Minister John Haggie is sending his thanks to the frontline healthcare workers and laboratory technicians this Christmas, who have been working through pandemic outbreaks and all other challenges over the last year.
He says the workers have been superb, and thanks them personally and on behalf of government.
Haggie says government will do its “level best” to work with the organizations and unions to make those frontline workers’ jobs safer, and he hopes those changes will help them feel the value that he places on the work they’ve done.
