The bench boss of the Newfoundland Rogues expects big things for his team and its fans in 2022.
Off to an impressive start to the season, the Rogues, under the leadership of Jerry Williams, felt the energy of the hometown crowd right off the bat.
Williams says on opening night, the fans came out to show their support, and it created a nervous energy in the locker room, something a team always wants. He says the fan support fuels the team with a greater purpose than just winning a game for themselves.
He says if fans want to give the team a gift over the holiday season, just support the club once they can safely return to the hardwood. In return, the coach promises some exciting basketball on the court in the new year.
