A few holdouts remain following the provincial government’s mandatory vaccine deadline.
Finance Minister and Deputy Premier Siobhan Coady says a handful of people in core government couldn’t or wouldn’t get their shots.
She says as of last week, there were 32 people who were “non-compliant.”
Individual circumstances were considered on a case-by-case basis. She says about 32 people were unable to produce a medical exemption and they remain home without pay.
