There are also 113 new recoveries, bringing the total number of active cases in Newfoundland and Labrador to 1,746.
There is just one person in hospital due to the virus as the province remains in Alert Level 3.
A total of 272 of the new cases are in the Eastern Health region, 37 are in Central, 25 are in the Western region and there are now 92 in the Labrador-Grenfell Health region. There are also five new cases due to private lab testing.
Meanwhile, Public Health says it will no longer list potential COVID-19 exposure sites on a regular basis. They say they will be issued only in exceptional circumstances, such as high-risk exposures that could lead to a so-called super-spreader event.
Updated COVID numbers will be issued tomorrow, Sunday and Monday on Twitter.
