It looks like Tuesday is going to be a stormy day on the Avalon Peninsula.
Environment Canada has a special weather statement out for the region with snow and high winds on the way.
Snow will begin early Tuesday morning and continue until Tuesday night, around 10 to 25 cm is expected. Winds will gust up to 50 to 60 km/h, resulting in blowing snow and reduced visibility in some areas.
