Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Janice Fitzgerald credits the team around her for helping her deal with the pressures of delivering some of the hard news during the pandemic.

Fitzgerald has been in the public eye for nearly two years now, often being the one to deliver the news of some of the harsh realities of the pandemic.

However, Fitzgerald notes that while she is the one on the briefings, it’s not a job she does by herself.

She says she does the talking on camera, but that’s only after a lot of talking behind the scenes.

She says she has a “fantastic team behind her,” which makes her job a lot easier.
