A COVID-19 vaccination clinic is taking place on Bell Island today.

The walk-in clinic will be held at St. Michael’s Parish Hall until 4:00 p.m. for people ages 5 and up.

First and second doses for ages 5-17 will be administered, as well as first, second and booster doses for individuals 18 and over and individuals ages 12-17 who are immunocompromised.

At one point during the pandemic, Bell Island had one of the lower rates of vaccination, prompting health officials to offer vaccination out of a mobile unit.
