The RNC has laid weapons and impaired driving charges against a woman in Labrador City.
Officers responded to a call about a possible impaired driver on a commercial property in Lab City around 9:00 p.m. on March 21.
The suspect vehicle was located and the driver was arrested for impaired operation of a vehicle.
The investigation continued into the following morning in connection with a potential weapons offence involving the same vehicle. The vehicle was seized and searched under a search warrant.
As a result, RNC have charged a 33-year-old Labrador City woman with impaired driving, careless storage of a firearm, possession of a firearm in an unlawful location, and contravention of firearms regulations.
She’s been released to appear in provincial court.
The investigation continues.
