A 16-year-old is facing multiple charges after an incident in the Goulds early Saturday morning.
Just after midnight, officers responded to a collision involving an ATV. As officers approached, the operator was attempting to drive the ATV away, however, it was damaged in the crash.
He fled on foot, but was apprehended a short distance away. There had been numerous traffic complaints regarding the ATV in the hours leading up to the incident.
The operator was arrested and charged with impaired driving, driving over the legal limit and dangerous driving. He was released to appear in court at a later date.
