Muslims across the province are marking the end of Ramadan today by celebrating Eid al-Fitr.
The Muslim Association of Newfoundland and Labrador is holding a special prayer service at the Techniplex in St. John’s this morning to mark the occasion.
They are expecting over 1,000 people to gather for the event.
Congregants can start showing up any time after 7:15 a.m., with the service beginning at 8 a.m.
