Iceberg season has begun, and the residents of Triton in Notre Dame Bay couldn’t be happier.
The massive berg which has made its way into the harbour is already drawing tourists, photographers, and sightseers, with photos of the massive block of ice being shared widely.
The administrator of the Newfoundland Iceberg Reports facebook page, Diane Davis, says that single iceberg has resulted in a huge boon for the community.
She encourages people travelling to small communities to see icebergs to support the local businesses.
