A search was initiated Saturday for a missing man in the Portugal Cove South/Trepassey area.
The man is believed to have left home on his ATV early Friday morning but failed to return.
RCMP and search and rescue are being aided by friends and other people from the area.
A helicopter has also been dispatched to help located the missing man.
