Corrections Canada is advising of an outbreak of COVID-19 at Dorchester Penitentiary in New Brunswick.

As of yesterday, seven inmates had tested positive and corrections officials are monitoring the situation.

The number of affected inmates may rise as further testing is conducted.

Dorchester has a rated capacity of 699 inmates.
