RCMP have arrested a 38-year-old man following a police operation in Long Harbour this morning.
Police later issued an advisory seeking the arrest of 38-year-old Aaron Woodford.
Woodford, who is known to the justice system, was believed to be driving a blue Honda Civic, and could be armed.
He was arrested a short time later.

RCMP have issued a public advisory indicating that they are actively looking for 38-year-old Aaron Woodford.
Police believe Woodford, who is known to the justice system, may be driving a blue 2016 Honda Civic, licence plate number JCX 898.
RCMP warn that Woodford may be armed and anyone with information on his whereabouts, or anyone who may have spotted his vehicle, is asked to contact 911 immediately.
It’s not clear if the advisory is related in any way to a police operation in Long Harbour earlier today that resulted in a warning for people to stay away.
