A 41-year-old man is facing drug-related charges following a recent drug bust in St. Anthony that netted a quantity of drugs, cash and more than $30,000 dollars in jewelry.

The investigation was launched in March as a follow-up to information received about drug trafficking activity in the area.

Police searched a home on Cabot Street early Saturday morning and seized a quantity of high-end jewelry as proceeds of crime, nearly $2,000 dollars in cash, one and a half ounces of cocaine, nearly 130 grams of illicit cannabis and other items.

Ryan Ricks was arrested at the scene and was released from custody on conditions. He’s facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a controlled substance, as well as a charge of possession of illicit cannabis.

Ricks is scheduled to return to court on the charges at a later date.
