One of Salmonier Nature Park’s youngest residents has a name.
The Nature Park turned to students to pick a name for a young moose calf.
Of the 155 entries received, the name Maple was chosen.
Maple will serve as an ambassador for all moose in Newfoundland and Labrador according to the nature park.
