Commuters on the Avalon Peninsula can expect some slowdowns on the TCH as culvert replacement work gets underway near the Foxtrap Weigh Scales.
Farrells Excavating has been awarded the $260,000 contract for the work.
Transportation officials say no detours are necessary, but drivers will be diverted through the weigh scales bypass road for the time being.
Work is expected to be completed later this month.
