A man and a woman on the Northern Peninsula have been displaced from their home following a fire Wednesday.

According to the Canadian Red Cross, the blaze broke out on Reid’s Lane in Roddickton around noon.

Nobody was injured and the home sustained mostly smoke damage.

The Red Cross is assisting the couple with emergency lodging and other supports such as food.
