The Red Cross is stationing radio teams at the Regatta this coming week.

To ensure no children go missing during the busy event, Red Cross volunteers will be patrolling around Quidi Vidi with a marked vehicle at the top of the pond and a tent near the Marquis.

Volunteers will be equipped with radios and will be wearing bright red vests.

Parents are encouraged to point out the volunteers to their children who can approach them if they become lost.
