A company that was founded in this province has gone the extra mile to ensure residents cut off by the central Newfoundland Wildfires have access to things such as food and baby supplies.
On Tuesday, Mary Browns announced that they chartered a Cougar helicopter to bring supplies to their location in Harbour Breton so that they could keep feeding the community.
Also on the trip, they flew in baby formula, diapers, and wipes for those who need them.
Darrell Durdle, Director of Operations for Mary Browns in Eastern Canada, says Mary Browns likes to take care of the community.
He says flying in the supplies was an easy decision to make.
