A gas price analyst is expecting little change in the price of gas tomorrow.
Dan McTeague, President of Canadians for Affordable Energy, says there shouldn’t be much in the way of change at the pumps, with an increase of as little as 0.5 cents per litre. Diesel and home heating fuels may be up by a penny, but McTeague is skeptical.
McTeague says while it seems like the market has stabilized in the short term, they will snap back in favour of the oil companies as the weather gets colder.
He says he’s not sure when that happens, but as companies start producing more diesel, gas prices will go up, possibly dramatically in September and October.
