The Northpine Foundation has provided $500,000 for the Lionel Kelland Hospice in Grand Falls-Windsor.
Northpine Impact Manager for rural Newfoundland and Labrador, Mark Lane says he is honoured to be able to help out in a town where he and his wife were both born.
Head of the public fundraising for Lionel Kelland Hospice, Shelley Woolfrey says Northpine recognized the reality of people in rural communities who don’t have the resources to provide end-of-life care at home.
Completion of the facility is slated for late spring of 2023.
