The Department of Forestry is seeking the public’s help regarding the discovery of two moose carcasses near the community of Cuslett, Placentia Bay.
Conservation officers responded to a call from the public and found two moose shot and left with only the quarters removed.
Investigators believe the moose were killed between Wednesday, September 7th and Thursday, September 8th before the big game hunting season opened on September 10th.
Anyone with additional information, or who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area is asked to contact the Resource Enforcement Division at 729-2192.
