One person was taken into custody following a police operation in Whitbourne last night.
RCMP asked residents to avoid the Main Road area last night around 9:00. A half hour later RCMP indicated that the issue was safely resolved and one person was taken into custody.
Police remained in the area overnight continuing their investigation.
