The Iron Ore Company of Canada and College of the North Atlantic have launched a new training program to upskill maintenance electricians.
The Future Workforce-Electrical program would bring electricians in line with the latest advancements in mining technology and is the first program to be launched under a $2 million dollar MOU signed in December 2020.

The 11-week program is delivered through CNA’s Customized and Continuous Learning department and kicked off this September with a group of seven IOC employees.
