Burin Peninsula RCMP is searching for a number of firearms stolen this past weekend.
Police received a report of a break, enter and theft of firearms and ammunition from the Natural Resources Building in Winterland sometime between the evening of November 10 and the morning of November 14.
A suspect or suspects broke into the building and damaged locked cabinets where a number of long guns were stored.
They are searching for a Remington 700 30-06 rifle, A Remington 870 Express Tactical shot gun, a Winchester 100 .308 Calibre rifle, and a Browning BPS rifle. They are also looking for 5 slug shotgun rounds, 15 buckshot shotgun rounds, and 20 30-06 rifle rounds.
They are asking anyone with information or surveillance footage of the incidence to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
