The City of Corner Brook is closing Wellington Street from noon to 10 p.m. this Saturday to accommodate the Western Sno Riders’ Snow Pitch event at the Basha Memorial Softball field.
The local dog park and outdoor rink will also be closed for the event.
Drivers are asked to follow the direction of flaggers in the area and watch for an increase in the number of pedestrians.
Fireworks have been approved for between 6 and 9 p.m. this Saturday.
Wellington St. will be closed on Sat between Pioneer St. and Citadel Dr. for the Western Sno-Riders' Snow Pitch event.
