Newfoundland and Labrador production companies have an armload of nominations for the Canadian Screen Awards.

Four local companies have received a total of 13 nominations.

They include Astrid and Lilly Save the World with two nominations, Hudson & Rex with six nominations, Son of a Critch with four nominations and Rock Solid Builds with a single nomination.

The Canadian Screen Awards will take place on April 16.
