Police in Corner Brook are asking for the public’s help in connection with a serious incident on Friday.

RNC were called out to the area of Elizabeth Street and Beothuk Crescent around 7:30 that night as a 57-year-old man needed medical attention. The man was taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

Police are asking anyone with information or video footage in the area of Elizabeth Street, Corporal Pinksen Memorial Drive, Mount Bernard Avenue, O’Connell Drive or the surrounding areas between noon and 9:00 p.m. on March 3 to contact them or Crime Stoppers.

There are no further details available at this time, however police say there is no immediate threat to public safety.
