Education Minister John Haggie says officials are looking at ways to improve security measures outside school facilities.
Haggie was referencing a vicious attack against a student at PWC that sent one 16-year-old to hospital with serious head injuries and resulted in charges against four other teens ranging in age from 14 to 18.

Minister Haggie says schools have good protocols in place for security and safety in the schools themselves, and discussions are underway to assess safety on school property outside the buildings.
They’re looking at options for surveillance and monitoring on school grounds.
