The golf club swap in St. John’s has been finalized.
Bally Haly and Clovelly are trading addresses but the number of golf clubs will be reduced. Bally Haly, which moves to the Stavanger area, will be the only such facility in the east end of St. John’s.
Bally Haly President Paul Rose says the annual registration process for the 2023 season has exceeded the board’s most optimistic projections.
The new course means that the club goes from 18 holes to 36.
Judy Dobbin, Managing Director at Clovelly, says the golfing landscape has changed considerably over the last 25 years and that the new arrangement will create a better balance between supply and demand.
There was no mention of the curling club in the joint news release.
