The provincial government is continuing its program to provide Metrobus and GoBus passes to vulnerable populations.

Government has $2.1-million set aside for the program in the 2023 budget.

Passes will be provided to those who receive income support, seniors who receive the Guarranteed Income Supplement, and young people receiving services from the Youth Services Program in St. John’s, Mount Pearl and Paradise.

Last May, the province announced an expansion of the program to include seniors and young people.
