The Mayor of Deer Lake says there are a number of potential locations in town for a new health centre, announced yesterday.
Mike Goosney says it all comes down to the RFP process to determine what’s available.
It remains to be seen if there are any existing buildings that could be retrofitted, or whether a new building will be constructed on an available piece of land.
Goosney says the RFP process is expected to take about 2-3 months and he’s hopeful there will be shovels in the ground soon after that.
