The four provincial health authorities become one single entity tomorrow, and ahead of that happening the province has announced appointments to the Provincial Health Authority Board of Trustees.
There are 13 appointments in total, including Robert Andrews who has been named the chairperson.
Each person has been appointed to serve a three-year term.
The appointments were recommended through a merit-based Independent Appointments Commission process.
Once the regional health councils are put in place, one representative from each of those will also be appointed to the board.
