Province Recognizes Transgender Day of Visibility

The provincial government is recognizing today as the International Transgender Day of Visibility.

The day is marked around the world to celebrate the achievements of the community and acknowledge the discrimination that many transgender people encounter.

The provincial government says they condemn hate of all kinds, and stress the importance of celebrating the diversity of the community.
