Watermain rehabilitation work will begin in the Churchill Square area of St. John’s in just under two weeks’ time.
The work, which began last year, involves cleaning and structural lining of existing watermains.
Businesses and homes in the area will receive water through a temporary above-ground water piping system while the work is carried out.
Residents will be notified directly if their home will be impacted.
The city says two-way traffic and access for pedestrians will be maintained where possible, but delays are expected.
The work will begin on April 24 and is expected to conclude by August.
