The RNC believe more information could be forthcoming in relation to their ongoing investigation into instances of alleged sexual assault against young people by two St. John’s men.

Eighty-year-old Bruce Escott, and 62-year-old Tony Humby, live close to each other according to court documents, and are each facing a growing number of sex-related charges.

The investigation was launched after police received a complaint in November of 2022. Since then, a number of charges have been laid against the two accused.

Some of the incidents date back more than a decade.

RNC Constable, James Cadigan is unable to speak to the exact relationship between the two accused except to say that they live in close proximity to each other.

RNC are encouraging anyone with information to contact RNC or Crime Stoppers, or, anyone with information to share, but who does not wish to speak with police, can do so through the Journey Project.
