Memorial University is offering the chance to feel like a med student for several weeks this spring.
The Faculty of Medicine’s Mini Med School is billed as a chance to expand one’s general knowledge of health and medicine.
Weekly virtual sessions will be held on Wednesday evenings, and run until May 17 in person at the Faculty of Medicine on the St. John’s campus and online via Webex.
This year’s lectures will cover topics such as antimicrobial resistance, end-of-life care, understanding diabetes and emergency medical care.
Graduates from the program will also receive a certificate upon completion.
The cost is $40 for high school students and seniors, and $50 for general admission.
