The only adult charged in a near-fatal attack on a St. John’s high school student is free again on bail.
18-year-old Tyler Greening was arrested last Friday for allegedly breaching conditions of his original release in late March.
He and four younger teenagers face attempted murder charges in connection with the incident on March 9.
It happened outside the main doors of Prince of Wales Collegiate during the lunch hour, and left the 16-year-old victim with serious head injuries.

Greening’s bail conditions include a curfew, orders to stay away from the school, staff and students, and to have no contact with three dozen people, including the co-accused, the victim and his family.
It’s not clear which of those rules he may have broke.
Greening is accused of helping someone escape and being an accessory or party to attempted murder, aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.
The case is due back in court on May 2.
