Bonavista Emergency Room Temporarily Closing Due to Staffing

The emergency room in Bonavista will be closed for the day today.

Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services says the closure is due to a staff shortage.

The emergency room will be closed as of 8 a.m. today, and will remain closed until 8 a.m. tomorrow.

Anyone with a medical emergency is asked to call 911, or proceed to the emergency department in Clarenville.
