Bell Island Emergency Room Temporarily Closing Due to Staffing Shortages

The emergency room on Bell Island will be closed for the day today due to a staff shortage.

The ER at the Dr. Walter Templeman Health Care Centre will be shut down from 8 a.m. today until 8 a.m. tomorrow.

Anyone experiencing an emergency during this time is asked to call 911.
