The company behind the wind farm and hydrogen project on the west coast says a series of open houses this week was beneficial to them and to the public.
Information sessions were held in Stephenville, Stephenville Crossing, Port au Port and McKay’s over four days.
Sean Leet, the managing director and CEO of World Energy GH2, says hearing the residents’ questions and comments, and offering detailed project information, is helping them to develop a more informed, consultative project that they hope the communities will be proud of.
The sessions were part of the environmental assessment process.
