The Mount Pearl-Paradise Skating Club will honour the late Kevin Walsh with a special ice show.
Coach Kevin recently lost his multiple-year battle with cancer, but the skating club says he contributed right up to his final days, noting his love for the sport was unwavering.
“Let’s Celebrate!” is set to take place on May 4 at the Paradise Double Ice Complex. This will be the club’s first ice show in four years.
The show will feature performances from top local talent, including 2023 Canada Games Pre-Novice Pairs Bronze Medalists Mark Butt and Lily Evans, the 2022 Skate Canada Open Synchronized Skating National Champions, six members of the 2023 Skate Newfoundland Skate Canada Challenge team, and multiple Newfoundland Sectional gold medalists.
